Juventus officially announced that Morata has joined on loan and he will wear the number 9 jersey.
According to the official announcement, Morata's loan fee is 10 million euros. Juventus can choose to buy him out for 45 million euros before the end of the 2020-21 season, paying him in three years, or spend 10 million euros to extend the lease for one year. If you choose to extend the loan, Juventus can pay 35 million euros in three years before the 2021-22 season to buy him.
The 27-year-old Morata played for Juventus during 2014-16, scoring 27 goals in 93 appearances for Juventus. During Juventus, Morata won 2 Serie A titles, 2 Italian Cup titles and 1 Italian Super Cup title with the team, and entered the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League final with the team.
In the summer of 2016, Real Madrid chose to use the repurchase clause and signed Morata back for 30 million euros. Subsequently, Morata also played for Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
In the 2019-20 season, Morata represented Atletico Madrid in 44 games and scored 16 goals.
